She had a dream of becoming a doctor for some reason already when she was 10 or 11 years old.

Acting was also a fun profession and that's why she did this for a while.

In the long run it was a bit hard being an actor though, since there aren't that many job opportunities, and when you do find work you often have to travel away from home.

When she had her first child she thought that perhaps she should try and find something else to do, and then her old dream of becoming a doctor came to life again.

It was somewhat hard to leave the acting profession to become a doctor, in a way it was like giving up one dream for another dream.

On the other hand she wasn't that passionate about the idea of being an actor all her life.

When she was about to start her studies she had to refuse some acting-jobs since she didn't have time for it, and this felt a little strange.

The offers she got that she had to say no to was for one swedish film and a few television productions.

Studying to become a doctor wasn't as demanding as she had anticipated, the work itself is more demanding.

It's very nice to hear from patients that she did a good job as a doctor, it's much nicer to hear this than to hear from someone she was great in Fucking Åmål.

She is recognised from films about once a week by patients, however a lot of her patients are older people who probably never saw Fucking Åmål.

Before she always wanted to become a childrens doctor, but now that she has three kids of her own this isn't quite as high on her priority list.

She would consider taking a break from medical work and do some acting again since this is also fun, you could combine the two jobs.

Thanks Magnus. I think she has hit upon the dilemma. As a doctor she can bring great professional relief to a small number of privately suffering individuals, that she gets to know.

As an actor she can bring untold joy and enhanced mental well being to thousands of people she will never meet.

Likewise. Hoever much she is needed, as a doctor, her job could be carried out equally well by lots of others.

A few days ago I saw on wikipedia that there was a record of Fucking Amal. Was "Show me Love" and decided to change it: Fucking Amal is the original name.
A week later becomes like before, lol
