I'll give the fermented fish a miss, although I love crayfish (but very expensive here) and the sweet stuff like semla buns. Like most things we only ever get to taste what is marketed/ promoted. The most gorgeous cheese that I have ever tasted is Portuguese mountain cheese, oh and Portuguese farmhouse bread, none of which is exported. Like the goat stew, takes literally 24 hours to prepare and cooked to tenderness on low heat. Very uncommercial, but oh! unforgettable.

To be fair, I can understand that sentiment as it can be quite a rollercoaster. Damn that movie for causing such unrest in totally happy and stable people.

I remember reading a small interview/ article about the film from back when FÅ premiered in 1998.

Rebecka said there that she had a lot in common with Agnes, but that she definately wasn't a lesbian.
