I know it's never mentioned in the film, but does anyone have any thoughts on when Elin's birthday might be? I know Agnes' is in April. The reason I'm asking is because I might include Elin's 30th birthday in my fan fiction. If she was 14 in April 1998 (assuming that's the year the film story takes place), and turned 15 later that year, then she would be 30 in 2013.

Unless of course, she was 13 earlier in the school year and turned 14 sometime before Agnes turned 16. Are they one year apart in school or two? I know Agnes is in 9th grade. Is Elin in 7th or 8th? If she's in 8th, then my plan might work because she could have her 15th birthday in summer 1998 and turn 30 in 2013. If they were two years apart in school, then she'll only be 29.

A summer birthday suits her I think. Maybe in June. That would mean she and Agnes are only 14 months apart. What do you think?

I always thought Elin was around 18 months younger than Agnes, whatever that means as far as a birthday is concerned, but I don't recall it ever being mentioned in FÅ.


BTW, Alex's birthday is on the 12th Feb, and I know we've sent her Snapsie as a present but I think we should celebrate here as well given that Snaps will probably be so excited she'll forget to pass on our wishes.

She'll probably return her to sender.

I think I'll stick with Summer. Elin and Lex are two dfferent people.
