I take movie's script and I've made for only me one subtitles about the days during movie.
Only there're the days.
Is only for movie from P2P (avi), not for DVD.
Is in swedish, english and catalan (my language).
I don't believe that to be good put it in P2P.
¿What do you think about this?

There are lots of YouTube clips from Fucking Åmål with different sub-titles, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, etc, etc, but I've never seen one with Catalan sub-titles.
By my way of thinking it would be great to increase the range of audience to include those who speak Catalan. *:)*

No. No is a film with subtitle catalans. All catalans speak spanish and we see in spanish.
To the catalans don't like subtitles.

It is an addition to the film .
It Will see the days of the week. The subtitles only contain days of the week, only.

The film begin in Friday, and then a complete week to finish in monday.
The subtitles only contain these 10 days. Only ten phrases.

Without subtitle I believe the time is more long.

With subtitle I believe the people will see that's only one week.

Perhaps is dangerous, because is break the undefined time of the film.

Ok. I understand where you're going with that.
Set out the timeline so people will see that it all takes place in those ten days.

I wasn't sure about the relationship between the Catalan and Spanish languages, or the people if it comes to that.

I must admit I have a personal preference for the use of sub-titles over dubbing simply because I like to hear the actors' real voices.

When one film I like very much. I see many times and then
I see the original without subtitles because I remember the manuscript.
The original is ever different to translate.

I've see FA in swedish (without subtitles) in youtube

It's surprising how quickly you can adapt to no sub-titles.
Especially when you've seen a film a few times with them.

Now, I'm in my job, working.

Tomorrow I will load the text document for to make subtitles

Only for film in ".avi", not for DVD (but if you want in DVD…)

To do the subtitles is very easy.

1.- Copy this text in a doc and save as text (option to save UNICODE, or your language place).
The name must be the same of film:
Fucking-Åmål.avi (film)
Fucking-Amal.txt

2.- Then change ".txt" for ".srt"

Fucking-Amal.srt

3. Put this document in the same folder as your film.

You can edit the text (names, seconds,…).
