You'll see that in Åmål, little things has to see. It's a beautiful but simple town.

I have been interviewed for radio and TV before so it's maybe not such a big deal. In Finland only, though.

I wonder if there will be other articles and news about the 20th anniversary of the film, not related to this special week in Åmål. I hope so - but maybe there should be another thread for them.

When I told my friends I'm going there, they mostly wondered how it can be already 20 years since the film was released. Many had seen it at a special showing for their Swedish class.

Some general acknowledgments will be made by Swedish media on the anniversary day but it's hard to tell if we can expect something else beyond that. No Blu-ray or such seems at sight considering what Lars told me the earlier month.

I just noticed that they have started selling some FÅ t-shirts again! These have the text “Fucking Åmål-veckan” printed on them as well, contrary to the earlier design which only featured the film's logo. If any of you guys want one let me know and I'll get one for you! :-)

I am very angry because the day I went to visit Åmål, it was the day of the week that tourist office was closed (monday afternoon). Bad luck.

Not by the looks of it. These are probably made in a limited amount intended to be sold locally.
