Perhaps the good people of Åmål designed the celebration just for us.

But seriously, I'm so grateful that the event was staged anywhere.
Trollhätten didn't seem that interested and although Åmål played no real part in the film, I appreciate the fact that they now acknowledge and embrace Fucking Åmål.

That screening that they held at Cinemateket in Stockholm last year was in comparison a much bigger event. Had that instead occurred this year near the anniversary then it would've been a huge deal.

While I definitely can agree that FÅ deserves better, I still enjoyed the events in Åmål and in some sense I'm just glad that there at least was something going on this year so that the anniversary wouldn't go by completely unnoticed. And now I also had an excuse to visit Åmål properly!

We should arrange something bigger ourselves for the 25th anniversary, what do you guys say? ;-)

On my land when some event is organized, many people are left to collaborate or make their own independent proposals.
I do not know if this is allowed in Sweden.

They could have done so many things.

Very tempting.
I'd have to see how my health is closer to the time.
My specialist only gives me 6 month extensions to my "use by" date.
So far so good, but in five years????
