I love the snow country, but there's only snow in winter.
For us that's around June - August each year.

I can get away with t-shirts and shorts most of the time too, even though Adelaide is in a temperate zone most of our winter days get to the low teens ºC.
The high country in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania is where the snow falls in winter.
My understanding is that the total area of snowfields in Australia is greater than the area of snowfields in Austria. :shock:
