Hi Guys!!

Ok, first things first. I saw this movie the first time in 1999. Me and some friends rented a VHS-copy, and this movie got me floored. You know what I´m talking about. I bought a VHS-copy, the book and the soundtrack. Then I got better Internet and downloaded the whole movie. I found this site, but never bacame a member. Like in 2002-2003 I got other things to do etc etc. It has always been my favorite movie since then, but I didnt se it in like 20 years. Ok, fast forward.

I´m sure you know about reaction videos on youtube. Some of them I like, some of them I dont like. There is one youtube channel "Popcorn in bed" with Cassie (her sister Carly is sometimes with her in the "shows") https://www.youtube.com/c/PopcornInBedI think thats the best reaction channel for movies. (my opinion ) A couple of months ago I came up with this idea.
Hey!!!! No one has ever done a reaction video of Fucking Åmål on Youtube. What a shame! I was bored one evening so I streamed the movie and saw it again after ca: 20 years. And I got blown away....again. OMG!!!

Something has to be done. So I joined Patreon (https://www.patreon.com) and started to support her channel. I recomended Fucking Åmål (or Show me love is more correct, its the US after all ) in all three ways you can do it via Patreon (a message, popcorn request and Movie/TV Suggestions) I realised that one of her suscribers was swedish so I asked him to request SML/FÅ to her, and he did that. I´ve sent like 5-6 messages to her about how great SML/FÅ is and she have replied.
The problem is that 90-95% of the suscribers are US-citizens, and 99,99%-ish of the people in the US has never heard about SML/FÅ. I guess she gets tons of suggestions every day. She has like 205000 subs. on Youtube, almost 2600 sponsors on Patreon (like 500 the last two-three months). 10500 followers on Instagram.
So I´m saying like Elin would say it: SNÄLLA (please) join Patreon and support her channel (its like 30 euro/US dollar a year or so) and recomend SML/FÅ in both ways, and send her messages on Patreon. In the FAQ is everything. Sounds good To make everything clear: Patreon in NOT social media. Its a site where you pay authers, movie makers, freelance journalists, youtubers etc etc. Lets say X produces podcasts. X makes an account at Patreon and the listeners can donate some cash to X. If the listeners likes what X is doing. X gets like 90 % of the money and Patreon retains 10%. The donaters can get some benefits from X.
In my/our case: "Popcorn in bed" you can suggest movies via Patreon (it "bangs louder" then from Instagram), you can vote (if you want) in different polls etc etc.

It goes slooowly..... So far has 4 of her patreons suggested FÅ to Cassie. its me, a swedish dude who I asked and 2 guys who commented a post from me about FÅ (they liked the movie, but I had to ask them to do it). So its my merit
But FÅ is climbing among foreign movies. It has past "Das boot" and "Run Lola run" on points. Soner or later she will do a reaction on a "foreign movie". She did "Amelie" like 5 months ago. And I know that she will LOOOOOOVEEE FÅ. It will hit her like emotionell avalanche (we know the movie does that right?) No reactor on Patreon/Youtube has done a reaction about this movie. (Youtubers has often an account at patreon) It´s a shame if you asks me. This movie is so underrated as you know.
Please support her channel "popcorn in bed" and let her know. Its like 30 euro/year and suggest the movie that we all love. FÅ is to good to be ignored ny reactors.

To day I got a new message from Cassie This message was written in a way that I know thats she had red my latest message to her. She likes the idea of doing a reaction to this movie. An advantage is that she have done like 200-ish reactions to movies, but only one has been non-english (the french movie Amelie) and that was is in January this year. So at least I think i´ts time for a non-english movie. Mayby maybe maybe she will do it in August.
