Tbh, I dont know. A sequel with Alex and Bex portraying Elin and Agnes in their 40-ies COULD be great. After all, I´m very curious about "what happened next in their lives???"
Eldsjäl mentioned (on discord) that Lukas sometimes jokes about doing a FÅ 2. Remember, he did Together 99. The trickiest thing I guess will be to convince Bex

I say the same as I said before. Sometimes there are second versions that are better than the first.

Let's give Lukas a chance to repeat the success.

Why take the risk of making a second version and not having the same or greater success.
Better to stay with the legend and have someone else do it.

Hahaha maybe it´s the best way, to let the story end on that bed in 1998. Doing a sequel on that movie 25+ years later. I´m very sceptic, but also curious. As a swede I can say, it will be big news here in Sweden IF it will be a new movie about Elin & Agnes. Thats for sure.

Hehehe... well here in Sweden it is considered to be a "modern classic". It was shown on swedish television earlier this summer
