Narcissus wrote: I feel,
The needle in my arm,
the naked girl in white, he said
We’re waiting for the sun,
Waiting for fun,

*musical*

And then we bathe,
In blue electric light,
The seagulls flies in circles,
the trip has just begun,
Waiting for fun,

*musical*

The song is most definitely about an acid trip

Maybe "Waiting for have fun" ?

have seen the links to mp3's, but have not seen a link to karl heinz glockmann's Fantasi för elorgel #34, which makes agnes's suicide scene, and also a piece in jim morrison's american prayer, though perhaps by a different player there; what's the commonality? anyone have the original?

Well, I don't know the Jim Morrison's but the piece that can be heard during the suicide scene is the beautiful Adagio g-moll from Tomaso Albinoni. There's really no "original" since it was and will be played by many orchestras all around the world.

Thanks Henrik,
i searched for the file online but kept getting strings and organ, instead of flute; finally i found the version which i believe is the one used in FA, on this CD:
http://www.bis.se/index.php?op=album&aID=BIS-CD-750

The adagio is credited to Remo Giazotto, in addition to Albinoni, for the following reason (from wikipedia):

Much of Albinoni's work was lost in World War II with the destruction of the Dresden State Library. Little is known of his life and music after the mid 1720s. The famous Albinoni Adagio in G Minor is a 1945 reconstruction by Remo Giazotto of a fragment from a slow movement of a trio sonata he discovered among the ruins of the State Library.

Hmm. I wonder how one can reconstruct a complete piece from only a fragment. It would be interesting to hear the original how different might it be. BTW, I have both the strings and organ version and the flute version and I think I like the latter one a little bit better. But maybe that's because that's the one in FA I don't know. :)

Maybe I misunderstand you but if you're looking for it online you can download the full FA OST which containes the flute version from this link I already posted in this topic -> http://test.symbiose.nl/Connections/faost.rar

You understood correctly; my search for the full FA version of the adagio proved futile. I ended up buying the Your Favourite Classics CD on amazon:

I'd love to download the FA OST, but apparently

Well, finally somebody seemed to be able to write down the lyrics of Drifter (my fave!). It makes a lot of sense but to me, in my romantic point of view, the singer says "we've fall in love" but what the heck, eh? Anywho Yvonne rocks!
Sorry if you don't actually get what I meant. My English is not the bestest...

But the above link still works! I've just tried it...with GetRight, but I guess any download manager will do. It won't work from within a browser though.

Super - I downloaded GetRight and am downloading the rar now. I didn't know there could be http urls that were only accessible via download manager software. I don't understand how that works, but it's working. Thanks!

I have not written anything about music and write it here. The music here is really great, I listen to it every day:) My favorite is Yvonne Drifter, Show Me Love "and" I Want Know What Love Is. :)
