Hello! I'm a new member here and I'm 24 years old. I watched Fucking Amal for first time like a month ago and I really love it. I recorded it and I've watched it again twice. I've never done it with another film. I can't understand, why it touch me so much? may be because it bring me back the emotions of the teen spirit, but with a different way of most of the films of teenagers, with the eagerness to show me something special I can't explain exactly...
I'm quite sure that I'm not homosexual but I would like to be a lesbian in another life

Hi! I'm also new here, and I'm 14... I saw the film a few months ago, so I saw it with 14 xD Well, I don't know how is the better age to see that film, but without a doubt i showed that film to teenagers, in fact, the main characters are teenagers, not? :D

I'm Spanish, so sorry for my bad English :S

Aged 24, just saw it a week ago (when I was staying at a Youth Hostel in Stockholm) and I am still stunned (which is whyI came to this forum, of course - I'm looking for anything to expand my FA experience).

Next time somebody advises me to see a movie, I won't wait 4 years ...

I was 14, and it's only been a year.

Th emovie really scared me at first because I can identify so much with it. But now I watch it every time I get a little gloomy.

I was 17 (2001) when I saw the movie. I bought the DVD for myself when I was 20 or something, I really like this movie! I'm going to watch it in one of the next days with my boyfriend :D
I don't know why I like this movie this much, I just love the movie, it's such a beautiful story!

I was 27 when I first saw it, I was blew away, that movie really touched my soul! I'm not shy or gay but also I could only think of that movie, it's just the way the film is brought I guess, very charming, funny, touching, sad and great shots, that's what makes this film so great I think and I think Johan is also a great actor, really good!!!

I saw it for the first time back in 1999 when it still ran in the cinemas in Sweden.

I was actually 31 years old at that time, but I loved the film right from the start!

It's a unique film that you don't have to be a teenager to appreciate, and the film was a big hit among all sorts of audiences in Sweden, both young and older.

I think it's not so much a film about lesbians, but more about love, and everybody can relate to that.

This low-budget film also felt so genuine in every area, and had wonderful actors, great dialogue, great music by Broder Daniel and lovely grainy photography :)

It's also a timeless film that will survive and be as fresh in the future as it was when it premiered!

If you don't just love Agnes and Elin you have a heart of stone

Hello, I saw this film yesterday and today again, for first time, with 40 years old, I really love everything in this film, the girls are incredible, the tale is great, everything is perfect, specially with a newbie director and "unknown" actors-actress , and fortunately the spanish dubbing is also perfect, another film that fits in my top ten list, Thank you Moodysson!.

Hello gruyo

Glad you liked the film too :)

Try also to watch the film in its original language, and with spanish or english subtitles sometime.

I was 26. Fantastic movie. Can't say it changed my life, mind, except maybe to give me another hopeless crush on someone I'll never meet!

I was 15 when I first saw it. I recall seeing it on HBO by accident. I stopped on it for a sec, noticed it was in subtitles, so i turned it off. Nothing else was on, so I thought i'd give it a go. Fell in love, first time. I waited for it to on a few hours later (before DVR being a normal thing). and i taped it on my VCR. I watched it over and over that whole summer. I later on bought the dvd off of amazon. Best purchase ever :)7 years later, and I can honestly say it's still my favorite movie.
