What's Viktoria doing in scene w/ goggles?

I just watched the English subtitled DVD version of Fucking Amal for ... oh, maybe the fifth time. One scene continues to puzzle me: what is Viktoria (the girl in the wheelchair) doing when she puts on those tiny little goggles? Agnes has just apologized for her rudeness at the party, but Viktoria is unforgiving and lashes back about Elin and Agnes' sexuality.

To me, it looks like Viktoria's using a facial tanning device.... The glasses are to protect her eyes from the UV rays
