If you've got a multi-region player, Bruno, you can always it order from australia - try the ezydvd.com.au website. My local JB HI-FI ALWAYS has a copy in store, in it's 'Foreign' section, too, I'm happy to say.

I think it's quite appalling that it's out of print in it's country of origin, for goodness sakes! :o

I'm also looking forward to a reissue, I check back here now and then hoping someone will have some info on it.

One thing you may want to look into is the Moodysson box set:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lukas-Moodysson ... B0007URST4

Which has FÅ as well as the fairly good Tillsammons and depressing but brilliant Lilja 4-Ever. I never got around to watching the fourth film but that's probably a good thing.

One thing to be aware of is it isn't supposed to be a very good transfer of the film, if I remember right it's letterboxed 4:3 instead of proper widescreen, but if you must have a DVD that's a pretty good deal until something better comes out.

No a re-release is not in sight in Sweden.

So it won't happen with the 10 year anniversary unfortunately.

Thanks for the tip codyw1 but, just like mpox, I'd like to get the original DVD (or a reissue): I don't really like the different name and cover F.Å. got in english speaking countries.
By the way italian name is not so good, too:
Fucking Åmal - il coraggio di amare means: F.Å.- the courage to love

I think I'll wait for the swedish version on ebay...

But I find strange it's impossibile to find the correct DVD or even the soundtrack. Seems I discovered F.Å. too late?

Bruno, I could get you a copy of the old Swedish DVD if you want?

But that one doesn't have English subs, you understand this?

Fucking Åmål is way more effective, don't you find?

Well I don't know what the inhabitants of that town think about it
given the fact that almost all of the film was shot elsewhere, if I'd live in Åmål I'd be a little upset about it, probably. Unless I agree with the definition...

http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%85m%C3%A5l

if you want to see a map, to know where in Sweden this town is:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%85m%C3%A5l

I passed not far from Åmål when going from Malmö to Norway, in ancient times (year 1996)... but it was before the movie, else I could have gone to see...
