Technical aspects of Fucking Åmål

Not so much has been said about this I think, the emphasis has always been mostly on the story and the wonderful actors.

But I must say I like very much the technical side or the look of this film as well.

I like the grainy photography and the colours, and also that they used what seems like a lot of natural lighting.

I also like that it's a short film, with a simple but very well constructed script.

And apart from maybe some of the clothing, and some of the 90s music on the score, the film has a very timeless feel which is great.

And speaking of the score, I also think it's brilliant for this film to only have pop music or classical music on the soundtrack, no specially composed film music.

A unique film.
