Saw the mpegs from the first "Eva and Adam" ep last night. Aww. The swimming one was especially cute...

Was this really AFTER Show Me Love? If anything, she looks even younger! She's so TINY!

And adorable...

That's astonishing, she really does look even younger than in SML.

Gorgeous little pixie. I'm rationing out the clips!

Finally watched all Rebecka's Eva and Adam stuff. Really enjoyed it. Was surprisingly easy to follow, really, given no subtitles! I guess some things don't need language. Very sweet, and rather sad at the end.

And Rebecka was impossibly cute throughout.

Lovely.

Have just discovered - to my delight! - that one of my dvd players is capable of playing mpegs, so have been burning my Rebecka downloads (Eva and Adam, OP, Skargardstorm) to dvd. AWESOME to be able to watch 'em on the telly (really good picture quality too, surprisingly).

Am currently in the process of trying to download the first segment of Narkontakt, but it's so big (and I'm on crappy dial-up) it takes something like 6 hours to download. And some ***** usually knocks me off five minutes from the end!

I was going to add that "Där Regnbågen Slutar" is re-released, but just realized the "new" DVD is also discontinued. But you're right Rebecka only appears for a few moments. I think this was very good film series though (this is the 6th in a series of 7 - where "Födelsedagen" is the last).

OP:7 is from 1997.

Practically everything she's done (other than SML) is discontinued.

It's really rather aggravating.

Yeah, I have to agree. I want a copy of Sherdil on DVD, big time. I've never flipped over an actress like this before. Makes me proud to be part Swedish.

Cody -- yeah, I saw Bear's Kiss on YouTube within a week of first seeing åmål. It was weird to hear Rebecka speaking Engelska. In fact, for much of the film I wondered if maybe her parts were done with ADR (additional dialogue recording) with someone else's voice. I know that she is fluent in English, but her voice just sounded so different. Deeper, more husky than I was used to from other films.

I believe she was indeed dubbed because while she can speak English, she does it with a Swedish accent and it sounded weird when neither of her characters parents were Swedish. :( :T
