Finally got to see this last week (thanks Dave  ). I have to say, it's rather good, if rather odd! And, needless to say, Rebecka is dead cute in it.

Anyone else seen this?

Oh, sure. Sound's not the best, either. Subtitles would be nice, too...

But hey, it's a chance to see Rebecka. NEVER something to be sniffed at.

I got to make a cool music video out of it, too! :D

i like this shortfilm. the plot is a bit strange, but the tree chraracters are lovely in a way. i really like the idea of the scene in the forest, when it comes out that Rolf really suffers from the breakup with his wife and Nina just answers by using the two stones.

and of course, rebecka ist just awesome....... _O_
:D

Wasn't there a link to the english subtitles for this on here? I'm sure I had them on my computer (and the translation for the FA Luuk interview and the Sajber one) but lost them when I had to reinstall Windows last month. I was just thinking of maybe trying to add them with DVD Flick... anyone?

I've never been able to find english subs for Narkontakt and I'm (moderately) sure I would have noticed if a link was here. Let us know if you find any. ^O^

There is a translation for the Luuk interview (the one with the pregnant Rebecka) posted here.

I'm sure I had them. I just could never figure out what to do with them. Anyone..?

But thanks for that link. I can try with that one. Let's face it, if it doesn't work with something very short like that, there's no point trying anything longer!

There's a zip file at the bottom of the page with the Swedish and English scrips.

A-ha! Thanks for that. I knew I wasn't insane. :D :P

That said, I don't think I'm going to be able to do it. Just trying to do the other one has given me a headache. Gonna take someone smarter than me to figure it out, I reckon...

Finally got around to burning a copy of Närkontakt. Inspired by Agnes&Elin Forever! (is it Magnus?) and his idea of adding subtitles. What a cute little film, I liked the banging of the stones.

Unfortunately had to use the Flv files from U-tube so the quality of the finished product wasn't great but it was still good to see Rebecka on the big screen rather than the pc.

Somewhere there have to be higher quality clips we can use.

How do I do something right with a zip file? It won't work for me :(

In Windows XP at least, (I presume other systems are similar), I just double click on the link and get a little box asking if I want to open the file. I click on the "shit yeah" (or similar) button, the zip file is sent to a temp file which is on screen. Double click the file, shit yeah button, file opens showing Swedish and English scripts for Närkontakt.

Seeing that computers are our friends and were put here to help us, I'm sure your's will find the usual way to make it easy.
