This is how I first read it:

He looked, said that's an FLV file, found a link for a program called "GetLIFE" which I could have on trial.

That would have been a fantastic mean joke from your PC guy.

Tried the limited version of GetFLV, no luck. Good luck with the full version.

That's great Kat, thanks so much. _O_
The quality is fine too, all I had to do was click on the settings button and make it HD.

I haven't had a chance to even try out GetFLV, (or GetaLife as it's known in some circles :P  ).
I'll have to find some other worthy target now. *:)*

I managed to download it in perfect quality with Pirateplayer, even the sound was perfect.

It's a swedish program that can download almost anything, http://pirateplay.se/

If you want to try this program yourself here is a guide to install it, and to download clips.

First you click here.

Then here.

Either you can install the latest version and click the first link. It didn't work with my computer so I installed instead the second latest version and clicked link number 2.

Here is the second latest version for windows.

You download and install like any other program after this.

To download clips you open the program then go to the website with the clip.

1. copy the address field, 2. paste in pirateplayer, 3. click the button "hämta".

Image

After this you 1. give the clip a name and be sure to give it ".mp4" as an ending in this case, 2. click the button "ladda ner", at 3. you can also decide in what quality the clip will be, maybe the best quality isn't possible then choose the next one, and so on.

Voila you'll soon have Bex on your computer. *:)*

Great job, Kat. We all had faith in you, and you delivered as always. ^O^

And thanks for the tip, Mangnus.
And, of course, the very thorough lecture in how to download it.
I think even Fish can manage it now. :P

I fear you may be overestimating the intelligence of the person you're talking about. :T

That's certainly a very helpful tip, Magnus. :D
Certainly, none of the standard flv downloaders or url sniffers seem up to the job of extracting the videos from Swedish websites.
