You'd like to think so, but sadly..... :(
When I save a "screen image" I get exactly what's on screen. If the aspect ratio, or anything else is wrong, too bad. What you see is what you get. That's why I'm trying to make sure the screen shows images that are in correct proportion. Of course I'm looking at them on my new monitor so I'm unsure if what looks good to me is good to everyone else.

There are lots of beautiful images in SBLM so I don't want to spoil them.

The image doesn't take up the whole of your screen does it, unless you have it set on "full screen".

Anyway, the SBLM film was shot in widescreen, so the images look fine, not stretched.

If you're unsure I suggest changing to some other media-player.

I can't even see this option for $3 on there. Cheapest I can see is $9 for a month. Which I've paid, but by e-check which hasn't cleared. And I'm not even sure it's worked either. :T

If it doesn't work I'll burn the film on a disc and send it to you.

Ian gets it for free since he's the webmaster.

If anyone else are having problems you can send me a small fee through paypal, and I'll send a disc to you too.

That was my main worry, but I think I've sorted things out now along the lines you've suggested.

Stupid :!:  :N
Alex, as SBLM demonstrates, you are an extremely intelligent and capable young lady so please don't run yourself down.
And this isn't me just crawling to you like Magnus is crawling to Ian. :P

You're right, so I suggest you send a disc with SBLM to Ian, instead of me having to send it from across the other side of the globe

You two are even in the same city, remember

I would like to make it quite clear that Magnus' crawling will have no effect on my impartiality on this forum at all.

But he is now my bestest friend EVAH. :P

I'm still waiting for the e-check to clear (if it does) so I can download it quicker than 16 hours. Can take up to 5 days (coz I didn't have the money in my Paypal account).

Yay for Ian. *:)* *:)*

The program I had to join and convert clips into a format I could burn and then watch on TV via my DVD player was not transferred over to my new PC. :(
And I used it so infrequently that I've forgotten its name.

Errrrrr. Can you let me have the details of the one you choose so I can get it too?
Please?
Pretty please?
Sir? _O_

I have several - Total Video Converter (which I had to pay for), flv converter (free), rm converter (free) and for SBLM I had to download one called converterlite, which converts mp4 to other formats (free).

Plus there's always DVD Flick, of course, which makes a proper dvd with menu (I would have used it for SBLM, as it seemed to be working, but it was taking over six hours which was just insane (it takes less than four hours to do a 2 hour mix dvd, and SBLM is only 90 minutes, so wth that was about I don't know. None of them seem to like mp4 much). :D

That was the one.
I guess I'll have to pay for it again seeing I "lost" the last one. :(

Have you had a chance to watch SBLM in full yet?

Not yet; planning to watch it on Friday with a nice big juicy bag of Toobs. :D :)P

TVC didn't work for SBLM, mind; it just freaked out and refused to do it. That's why I had to get converterlite instead.
