On the plus side, it is often unintentionally amusing.

And this would be some new definition of "amusing" of which I was previously unaware? :P

It looks like Alex has an new agent. I tried the website of her last one earlier in the week but it woudn't load. Also on the same agent's books is Cecilia Frode who was in the Moodysson films ''Talk'' and ''Tilsammans''. Here is the link to Alex's updated CV. :

There is also a link to a showreel that I can't access coz my puter is crap *:|*

I'm downloading it via RP but can't see it otherwise. I hope it's not just the one I've already got as it looks like it'll take a while...

But thanks for the links, snapsie! *:)*

I see what you mean. Image

Judging by the stated length of the clip it looks like the same 2010 showreel posted on Glam-pop's site.
Has lots of nice stuff in it for anyone who hasn't seen it.
Like these.

Harleyjane is a blogger, but of course everyone would already know that, anyway she had a bit of an encounter around about the 15th Oct 2010.

http://harleyjane.blogg.se/2010/october/jag-vill-knarkaaaa.html

Here's the gist of it.

Google translates it as:

"I want knarkaaaa!
On the way to the train home after work happens (in my opinion) pretty nice thing. It's not every day you meet Alexandra Dahlstrom (Show Me Love, Miss Sweden, etc.) in the middle of Queen Street! She stops me and asks if I know how long the H & M is open. And I know that well, in that I work in the same mall as H & M is in, but at that moment I could only think "What the hell is her name anyway?!" and "I want knarkaaaa". So I smiled most stupid and said something like that I recognized her. Though certainly a very clumsy way. Eventually I got up to the closing seven, and so it was with it. Nice chick, the one where Alex. I am ashamed of my ridiculous behavior, in hindsight ..

However, it is not worse than my meeting with Anders Wendin from Moneybrother this summer. But that's another story that I might pull some point.

Alex: Excuse me, do you know when H & M bars?
Nea: Eeeehehehe (giggle) It's you! * Dies of shame upon himself"

Talk about losin' it when she should have been going for her camera.

I'm sure Triddy would have done better. :D *:)* :P

And can someone please translate "knarkaaaa".
Can't be what I'm hoping it is, surely. :)P

The Swede Beat Magazine
http://www.theswedebeat.com/magazine/svenska-flickor

"ALEXANDRA DAHLSTRÖM
Alexandra Dahlström (Fukcing Åmal/Show Me Love 1998) is probably the only Swedish actress under thirty with real movie star qualities. Clearly comfortable in the limelight she holds the attributes of being charming, bubbly, determined, hard working and very talented. Combining her classic beauty with directing, writing and academic studies, this blond bombshell seem to take full advantage of the adventures life offer. Last fall, Dahlström’s third short film “Because The Night” premiered at Stockholm Film Festival. The story of young hearts aching, breaking and burning on Stockholm’s dance floors is one of the more truthful pictures of adolescent life in the Swedish capital. With attention to detail, uncompromising honesty and twinkling eyes, we are pretty sure it won’t be long until we see her own full- length feature.

By Ebba Åkerman"

Part of this months feature: "Hall Of Femmes" *:)*

But not even a pic. :?: :(

Cool article. Let's hope they're right about the feature - but preferably with her in it too.

Fishy... you must be joking! May the standard of erudition on this board be in decline? Know the sacred texts of your cult!

JESSICA: »Novalucol Novum«. (...) Nej, det funkar inte.
ELIN: Men vi har ju ingenting att dricka! Det här då?
JESSICA: »Longovital, ört- och vitamintabletter« ... Men, alltså Elin...
ELIN: Alvedon då?
JESSICA: Lägg av. Det händer ingenting.
ELIN: Joo.
JESSICA: Nej.
ELIN: Men jag vill knarka!

You don't need a translation for that, do you?

It's nice to know I have a purpose in life, even if it's just to be held up as a bad example to others.

Hides in shame...... again...... er.... still. :T

Ohhh. That "knarkaaaa".

Nice try, but, that's the one where Alex speaks in English about "Because The Night".
It's from the 2009 Festival. *:|* :P

The other day I did, however, find a clip where Lukas reads the "Hokku" ( :?: ). Only goes for 20 seconds or so. I'm not sure I've seen it before and I didn't keep the link, but I did capture a screen image.
It should be an old one, (Lucas and all), but I'm not so sure.
The person on his left looked familiar.
