A film called "She’s Blonde Like Me".
"The artist Fia-Stina Sandlund and actress Alexandra Dahlstrom travel to the Biennial in Venice to present a performance of a director who will make the Strindberg play "Miss Julie" in a feminist reinterpreted movie version. Fia-Stina and Alex met at the airport and prepare appearance in Venice, but something is obviously wrong. Or? Perhaps the failure actually? This is at once both an entertaining and visually interesting portrayal of the artistic process and a multifaceted examination of power play in relation to gender and the media. The scenes in which a medium conveys how August Strindberg's spirit is now regretting that he was killing Miss Julie, are quite hilarious.
Marit Kapla
