Alexandra's own film Lacrimosa

Postby Agnes&Elin Forever! » Sat Mar 08, 2008 3:22 pm

I promised to find out some more about this film

Apparently it's a really short film, only 8 min long.

It will probably be shown on various film-festivals throughout Europe this year, and later this spring you will also be able to watch it on an internet site.

I'll post the address to this site when I know it!

She'll be right for money once you fix her up with that gig in neighbours. :P
Be a lot easier to keep track of what else she's doing too.

Anna Nevander has this "showreel" posted on Vimeo.
It's around 8 mins and has clips from her films, including Lacrimosa.

I watched Lacrimosa for the first time today. (I am very belated.) I liked it a lot. The idea is simple - the web of people in which literally everybody who seems to be together with someone is secretly also together with someone else. But it is well-executed, and the visuals are great. (Very Moodysonesque with their grainy documentary appearance and the minimal dialogue.) I also like how Alex placed the central scene at the very end, as a flashback, when it has already been established that the lovers' talk is based on a lie. A very convincing little finger exercise. :D I hope that they will let her do a feature film one day.
