I found this website which indicates it will be available in Region 2.

http://cdon.se/film/ma%C3%B1ana-4203860

I think the release date is October 7, 2009 since I have not heard of it being on DVD yet. It doesn't look like this version has subtitles available or maybe the details aren't accurate yet. I'm also not sure of how widely it's being released.

Oh dear God, who can we punch if it DOESN'T have subtitles?

Some use that will be! Even the trailer on YT has subs, for crying out loud!

Signing up for Swedish lessons this week, you better hurry if you want a spot in the class.
Though a Brazilian tutor who's only just left the rainforest worries me a little.

I'm sure it will have English subs. :D

I hope so. It's one of the few films I'm really looking forward to this year! (Granted, mainly 'cause Alex is in it, but what can you do, eh? :T :P )

Point taken. It's not that Alex is a major selling point for the film, it's that she's the major selling point for the film.

biatch!! I know its been updated but looks like someone has forgotten to upload all the links as there's only the blog page available atm. I can't make much sense of the latest blog entry other than it appears to say the producer and director are currently in Stockholm, another part of the ''team'', sounds like the film unit, are in Trolhatten, and a third element (probably the actors in rehearsal) are in Gothenburg and meeting up with the costume designers at the beginning of next week.

More incomprehensible ramblings from the Spindelgången set. Seems they are making the most of the unseasonal warm weather we have been enjoying in the UK too, and a few beers to go with it. (Three cheers for global warming !!! yay.) More news about Stockholm trip later in the week, and some notes from the mysterious Black Swan her/himself to be posted. :?

There doesn't seem to be any more info as to whether the Manana dvd will have english subs, and it's out in less than a month... :(

I've emailed Concha Films on YT to see if they know whether the dvd will have subs. We'll see if they reply.

I told them I'll be rather cross if it doesn't.

Hard to make any sense of it isn't it. Might all be a joke brought about by global warming.
I mean, do they have an actual script or anything yet? What's the story? Who wrote it? Blah, Blah, Blah?

There WILL be English subs. They wouldn't dare risk losing the English speaking markets. Trust me.
