Personally I loved watching Moa grow from being a "used and abused" minor player in the "gang" to her own woman, in charge of her life.
Conny was just a user, well played by Sverrir Gudnason, the cause of much of Moa's low self esteem. André, poor sod, didn't know what he was in for but his heart was in the right place. And Jens was just brilliant. A young kid who taught her how to fight back.
Kim, Vanna and Josefin, well who needs enemies with friends like them.
And Hector and Ola as the voices of the "new left" didn't even realise they were just users too, till Jens told them.

And don't get me started on her mother. If any of you ever talk to your own daughters like that.... :x ....I'll be around at your place with the spraypaint and the horse shit.

Loved it. *:)*

Does anyone remember Josefin from Fröken Sverige, played by Michaela Berner?
The tall, blonde, good looking one.

Looks little different now, a few years older and without those bits of metal sticking out of her face but still scrubs up ok.
Anyway, I found her in this short film (under 10 mins) on You Tube.
Swedish, no subs, doesn't matter.

Don't know how I keep finding my way to these obscure little Swedish lesbisk films.

Sort of a "do you remember who this is" kind of post.

You're right. It's Michaela Berner.

This one.

Still in the movie business. *:)*

And of course everyone remembers Jens.

Has done quite a few voiceovers and dubbings for films but seems mainly to be a communications strategist for Identityworks.se.

Fish: "WTF's a "communications strategist"? "
Leo: "Someone who tells you to answer the phone."

I saw Fröken Sverige again last week for the second time only (first time being sometime around 2006). It is repeating the obvious, of course, but nevertheless imperative, to point out again what a phenomenal actress Lex is. The film is no masterpiece, but her achievement as the lead is just stunning. Flawless. Better even than her performance in FA, way more refined, subtle, confident. The fact that Moa is no intergalactical cutie like Elin only serves to make this more obvious. For the umpteenth time I find myself totally unable to think of just any reason why Lex did not receive offers for more lead roles in better movies after this one. It is beyond me. Is there such an amazing amount of talent in Sweden that they can afford to waste this kind of giftedness?

I agree completely.
There seem to be some with much less talent being given an armchair ride to stardom while Alex slaves her butt off on much less marketable projects.

Like Spindelgången FFS.
I mean, whatever happened to that? Image

It does seem rather limited over there. Perhaps it is time for Alex to spread her wings over yonder (though she does seem to be making an effort in that department with Covert Affairs and apparently auditioning for Snow White). She should definitely be a bigger star though. :(
