Som kärlek fast på riktigt! (aka Like Love But For Real)

If anyone hasn't seen this short film (16mins) of Alexandra's yet here is a link which should take you there. http://www.vimeo.com/682327

No subtitles but it's easy enough to follow even if you don't know Swedish. Very cute film. Sverrir Gudnasson (Conny from Froken Sverige ) is the other main character.

I just wish subtitles were easier to come by for these sorts of things.

Won't SOMEBODY think of the foreigners?! :P

I've downloaded it but have yet to watch it. I will, but the lack of subtitles is rather off-putting. I like to have some idea what the heck's going on, you know. :P

Finally watched this last night. Really enjoyed it, actually, the lack of subtitles wasn't as big a problem as I feared. Funny.

And how great is Alex? She's so funny. And so chameleonic. And has such a damn great face.

I think I'm in love.

   :P

As for "I think I'm in love." I think there are a few in front of you in the line so please take a ticket and wait your turn.

Indeed. I like how she can effortlesly switch from seeming to be the epitome of the glamorous blonde into not being afraid to be seen as clumsy and dorky and even frumpy (while still nonetheless managing to be dead cute  ). She's a natural comedienne too.

Oh when oh when is Manana coming here/on dvd?!

I'm so glad we haven't lost her as well as Rebecka. :D

I agree with all that you said Ian. She is not afraid to show expressions which are not so glamorous (but are very cute), but I think her main quality is her flawless sense of timing for comedy. She can make you wait an eternity for a line which you know is coming because of the expression. Hightened anticipation I think it's called. Alexandra is a rare talent indeed. ^O^

By the way, you're still at the back of the line. :P

And for obvious reasons she has been much more in the media lately than a few years back when she lived in Italy.

Seems she's doing OK and will stay in the movie business, she has also said she'd like to direct movies herself (besides the short movies she's done).

If only we could hear and see more of them, or even more about them, in Australia.
Who distributes her stuff and how can we get it, (obviously with subtitles) over here? Anyone have any clues?
