Jenny ger igen

Postby fish » Mon Jun 22, 2009 1:26 pm

I notice that IMDb has a new short film (27 mins) called "Jenny ger igen" listed for Alexandra. She plays the lead character named Mia.
Not much detail but here's the link to that page...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1436400/

Does anyone have any more info?

I found a website which was like an agency for actors and such in and around Sweden, they also provide body doubles. I knew I had been searching for info on this little film for too long when I started looking for my own body double and all I could come up with was the Moomintroll.

I've had no more luck on a clip or anything, I don't think Alexandra's is the lead role, and she seems to be involved with a couple of other short films including one she's directing next year. The names of these others are submerged somewhere in what I laughingly refer to as my brain so I'll have to look for them again once I've had a good lie down. :?

Maybe a Swedish speaking/reading friend can fill in the void. :D

awwww! I'm sure the sexiest Moomintroll on Earth _O_

Can you tell us more about this agency? I need to expand my portfolio  The only body double I'd get offered is for a stick insect in a David Attenborough wildlife film

Or Olive Oyl. (I still fantasise about Olive Oyl. )

That agency's website is interred in the mush of my brain along with about 500 others. If I find it again I'll post it. ^O^

If you do remember let me know ^O^ My artistic standards are pretty low, although I draw the line at DP with real life werewolves on-screen.

If you understand that last sentence you should take a VERY cold shower.

Try this...
http://svtplay.se/v/1624267/svensk_novellfilm/jenny_ger_igen?cb,a1364145,1,f,-1/pb,a1364142,1,f,-1/pl,v,,1629492/sb,p110998,1,f,-1
Looks like the full film but I haven't seen it all the way through yet.
Swedish, no subs.
26 mins 40 secs.

OK. First the good stuff.
Alex is just gorgeous here. Comes in at about 5:30 and at the end. Pretty good short film even without subs, but would be better with them as you really need to know the details. Talk about female empowerment!

The Bad.
Had to load it twice before it would play all the way through. Can't seem to save/download it. (saves a small chunk only). There is a note on the site that "This video is available until Friday, August 14".

The Eh.
This is a drama so it's a serious subject. Alex's role is fairly small in on screen time but is crucial to the story.

Certainly worth seeing but I would love subtitles.
