Sorry people, I have been offline for quite a while and have lost track of what has actually been made available online - you realize that there is a one-hour video clip of that ceremony including approximately 10 minutes of sweetest Alex footage? It used to be available from alexandra-dahlstrom.com before the site went down. I have it (it's a 180 MB affair though), is it available somewhere? Or should I put it up somewhere?

I seem to recall downloading the thing (taking an hour) at the time, only for the file to emerge corrupted and unplayable for some reason.

I think I've seen pics but not the clip. I'm sure I'd remember.

Maybe, just maybe, if someone with top notch skills like, say, Ian, was able to download the whole thing and extract the Alexandra bits, and then say, put a clip of it somewhere, (did somebody say Youtube?), so we could all get it, wouldn't that be underbar?

Just the kind of thing to endear a moderator to his legions of fans.

Guys, I need some help with the Undine Award thing. I have the whole file on my harddrive. It is a 180 MB (60 min) Real Player video. I would love to extract the 10 minutes with Alex in order to upload it to Youtube, but I don't have software capable of editing RM files. I only have Windows Movie Maker!

Option 1: Someone please point me to a free, easy-to-download and easy-to-use converter software for making a windows media file (or anything else MM can hndle) out of the RM file, or to a software with which I can edit the RM file directly.

Option 2: Someone please take over responsibility. I'll get you the whole 180 MB thing and you take care of the rest.

I assure you that it is well worth the trouble!

Can you not convert the RM into mpeg or wmv? I only have WMM too.
