Well, I've had no response to my last post.

Maybe people don't really give a shit? I DO, so if you don't then upyours with brass knobs on :P

Like I've said before, my argument isn't with Keith but with Quercus.

I've posted my story on fanfiction.net now. I haven't said anything nasty, but I have pointed a finger.

I am hoping he will read and reflect. He is a humble person, by nature, and is probably as surprised as anyone that his errr ''effort'' took the Gold Medal. It's understandable that he would want to crow about his success. I would in his shoes. Instead he is very typically modest and appreciative of ''wti''. That is where we part company.

I don't visit the wti site much these days, unless I wear goloshes to protect against the overflow of saliva, sperm, and other bodily juices that ebb and flow.

I hope Keith will continue to write, and develop his style into something that transcends the wtf site. I hope he will revel in and enjoy his author-signed copies of books and the Kindle reader that I could have used to download Ian's stories.

I needed that encouragement. I didn't get it.

Keith has it now from Quercus. A foot in the door. Worth 1000 times the nominal value of the prizes.

I hope Keith becomes the next Stieg Larsson.

I will bide my time. ''The higher you build your walls .. the stronger I become.''

It's a hard road for the creative person, that fo' sho'. *:|*

I've never made a bean out of music, for example, rather the other way around; but I tell myself, if it wasn't worth doing for its own sake, it wouldn't be worth doing at all. Most of the time I believe it. 8)
