For Germany with so many channels and for this timeslot it is just above average. It's a market share of 5%.

Das Erste is the first public broadcaster and showed one WorldCup play off and one friendly match that same evening, including Germany-Azerbaidjan and The Netherlands-England. 7 million viewed the first match and more than 4 million watched the second. This to give you an impression of the top programs on this channel and it's potential.

Wow. That's like around a third of our whole population. :shock:
I think our tv broadcasters would be green with envy.

And 230,000 stayed up to watch FÅ at around 1am. That's a pretty impressive number too.
(or maybe just a lot of insomniacs. :P )
