F.Åmål on German channel NDR / Lilja 4-Ever on Swiss TV

As Nije told us in the German language forum, Fucking Åmål will be on TV again on 11/12 December on the German channel NDR, which broadcasts for the north German area, but can be received via satellite (Free-to-air) throughout Europe. Certainly the movie will be dubbed.

thanks for the information. I also read it in the german-section for this forum.
AFAIK, you can receive NDR via cable-tv in whole germany, but also in the eastern parts of Nederland and Belgie...
Anyway. you're right, it will be dubbed.
Btw.: another Moodysson film "Lilja 4ever" will shown on Swiss tv at 11/28 23.20h and 12/01 01.35h on SF1.

I hope, many people will watch it. perhaps we will have some new members in the forum after the broadcast on tv.

Vielleicht, so hoffe ich jedenfalls, kommt auf diese Weise auch wieder mehr Leben in das deutschsprachige Forum.

Thanks Hans for this new information. I also hope this will bring new members to the forum. It is cool to see that every time after the movie was on TV, this forum revives. In any case, a surprising number of people always get fascinated by this movie (or Rebecka or Alexandra in particular) and search the internet for more information.

Do you know if it's in German? Because - no offence to German people - but you allways tend to turn all foreign movies German. And most of the time the movie is....well, not ruined but...let's just say it would be better if it had stayed in it's original state.

(I've posted, I think, 4 times on this forum. And in 2 of the posts I had to say I mean no offence. Am I thinking right )

Well, I do not like dubbed movies either. I also wonder why they do this. Because also in my opinion it ruins the movie. Why not subtitles? Can't everyone read these days? But, it is not my intention to judge on other cultures, so I will leave it at that.

Back to your question Sjwimmel. The movie is on NDR and 99.9% of all movies in Germany are dubbed. I hope this answers the question.

The exception: ARTE is one of the German/French channels which broadcasts preferrably in the original language.

For those who still don't have the DVD (shame on you ): There's a new air date, this time on Tuesday, 13th June 2006, (yes, tomorrow evening already) on the German channel mdr. And you might just guess the time: 01.00 (I still dont' understand why the best films always come after midnight )
