Has it really been 15 years?

In 1996 I saw the "Farewell to the world" concert by Crowded House, in Sydney, in front of over 150,000 people, in the back courtyard of the Opera house. Best concert I have ever seen. One of the best groups there ever was.

My kind of music.

Today they showed it again on one of the music channels.
I went straight onto Ebay and bought the DVD.

The last song they ever played was "Don't Dream It's Over". Very emotional.

Rest in peace drummer Paul Hester who took his own life several years ago. So sad.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1. Don't know why, given I'll almost certainly get the boxset...

Oh wait, yes I do know why. Obsessive completism. :T

Plus Emma looks really cute on the cover. :T

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2 is out. I'm not getting the big boxset, it doesn't look like there's much in it extra, and apparently they're already planning another "Ultimate" boxset for next year. :T :r

The film's only $20 for the 2-disc, so I may as well get it now. Whether I get any "Ultimate" boxset next year depends if there's anything amazing in it (like extended cuts or something).

In the "Movies On Demand" part of pay TV, for which you have to pay extra, they're having a Harry Potter week where one after the other you can watch the whole lot, in order.

And you can record them if you want.

Don't think I'll bother, I'll just read all your reviews. :P

Talking about Sydney Opera House

A little more recent is the concert of Simpley Red at the Opera House. That's a really awesome concert registration. :T

I love Simply Red. They were great. *:)*

A bit pricey but what the hell, it's a cd and dvd set.
And since I stole Ian's credit card I don't mind paying full price if the thing's good. *:)* :P

Oh no!

I have no moral objection to stealing your credit card, but now that I know it's a fake, I mean, how can I steal from a bank. It's just not right. :T :T :T :T :P

Spice World
Matilda
Rush Hour 2

All $5.00 (American) each. Alyssa and I watched Rush Hour 2 last night. As funny and action-packed as ever.

Oh and I saw Show Me Love in the $5.00 bin as well. A shame, but good too, because more people can buy it. There were only 4.
