"Före Stormen", ("Before the Storm") scored some excellent reviews on IMDb but I hadn't ever heard of it before.

According to the little I've read it's very dark with not much to lift the spirits. *:|*

What's it about?
Is is really as bleak as they say?

Soap season 3. How can you not love a soap spoof that has storylines about affairs and teacher/pupil relationships running side by side with a story about how Burt has been abducted by aliens and replaced with a sex mad identical duplicate?

No not that bleak. It is about some very serious subjects, that's true. But it never gets that dark, because there are many points of hope in the movie. It even gives you sometimes a good feeling. :)

That's good. Think I might try to track it down then. Image

Soap is/was brilliant. *:)*
Can't believe how long ago it was on though. *:|*

I was about 8/9 when I saw it first.

And those were repeats.

You were 89 when you saw "Soap" first :?: . :P

Been re-watching a few DVD's, "Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister", "Kick", "Fucking Åmål", etc.
Excellent stuff. *:)*

Anything to avoid that bloody wedding.

I was in junior school for the last one. Everyone had the chance to either watch it on the telly, or go out to play. Needless to say, all the girls stayed in and all the lads buggered off.

Angel season 4. I'm not as big a fan of Angel as I am Buffy, but season 4 is the nuts. It's like a crazy supernatural 24.

Doctor Who - Day of the Moon. Stylish but incomprehensible.

Day of the moon?

Was that the name of the one on Channel 2 last night?

I watched all bar the first minute and thought I must have missed something crucial 'cause I found it difficult to keep track of all the new characters who suddenly appeared. It was good enough to make me want to watch the second part next time however, even if just to try and work out what was going on this week.

No, that was part 2 of the one you just watched (I'm... er... being naughty  ).

I'm even more confused after part 2. :T

I think they're starting to do occasional 'arc' episodes ala The X Files.

I'm unconvinced that this is a good idea. *:|*

"'arc' episodes"?

Does that mean lots of questions and no answers unless you watch every single moment of every episode?

Can't see that happening.
I'd like to think I at least had a bit of a life away from TV/computers, etc.  *:|* :T

Ok. Ok. No need to comment on that remark.
