Never seen it, but I've heard of it. There's a Babylon 5 crossover joke in it, (because Peter David wrote for B5 and Billy Mumy was in it) where one of the characters finds a teddy bear that Captain Sheridan chucked out of an airlock in B5!

Rented season 2 of True Blood to watch over the coming week, starting tonight.

It's been amusing to watch Gregory Itzin, best known as the corrupt, sleazy President Logan on 24, in a recurring role as the corrupt, sleazy town Mayor on Eerie Indiana back in 1991/92. Talk about typecast!

My ambition in life was to be typecast as "corrupt and sleazy".
Unfortunately I could never master "corrupt".

Doctor Who - The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang. Last season's finale. Very enjoyable, very peculiar. My fave bit is still the build-up to episode 1's cliffhanger, with River in Amy's house and the reveal that the Romans are all fake, somehow taken from Amy's memories of a children's history book. It's a wonderfully chilling use of the Autons, miles better than their rather lame, cartoony first appearance in New Who (back in 2005's "Rose"). Great stuff. Interesting too that they're playing a multi-season arc for the first time as well, resolving the "cracks in time" story but leaving who was behind the TARDIS exploding (and who or what "The Silence" are) and why as a running mystery. Next season should certainly be interesting.

On reflection, last season was pretty good, probably the best since the Eccleston season. I like Matt Smith much more than Tennant too.
