A conversation with Edgar Honetschläger by curator Marcello Farabegoli of Museums Quartier Vienna.
In English.
About his film Los Feliz and the art installations that accompanied it.
Only about a five minute read, but well worthwhile. *:)*

Read so many good things about Céline Sciamma's latest film which is being shown at a couple of venues in the USA this weekend, prior to a more general release in about April 2020.
Rotten Tomatoes have given it 5 out of 5 stars.

Adèle Haenel and Noémie Merlant in "Portrait de la jeune fille en feu" ("Portrait of a Lady on Fire")
Can't wait to see it and buy the DVD.

Céline has a history of making great films, eh?

The whole world has gone crazy.

An Instagram post from Jade Labeste, a French actress/model who (I think) has appeared in a short film "Hold Up" directed by Vincent Zulawski.
Seems to have been made in about July 2019.

She posted these three pics....

Oh hello!
I remember you. :W

According to "Very Zoo Productions"
"Production Description:
Synopsis: A short film that exposes the juxtaposition of two best friends, when one takes the other hostage and wishes to teach him about life, the hard way. https://www.backstage.com/casting/hold-up-300417/

Haven't had a chance to find out much more yet.

I was sitting at home the other night and suddenly it dawned on me that it was 10 years since I first saw Pauline starring in Blanche Neige in Paris. Happy new year to all her fellow admirers. Regards Andy.

Ten years!
Hi Andy.
I didn't think I'd been here that long.
I remember you writing about it and was very envious.

I emailed the production company and wound up buying the dvd.
Excellent decision of mine.
I still watch it occasionally.

Great to hear from you.
Have a happy new year. *:)*

Hi, Andy! :W Happy to see you're still with us! ^O^

Maybe should we email this Vincent Zulawski about the short? Like, when will it come and how will it be distributed, and also manifest our interest in seeing it.

By the way, MyFrenchFilm Festival is now open! *:)* I am sure that there are some interesting films in it.

Very difficult finding him.
Search for the film title leads to this page. https://www.backstage.com/casting/hold-up-300417/
The only likely Vincent Zulawski is Vincent Bab Zulawski who is the son of Sophie Marceau. https://www.facebook.com/vincentbab.zulawski/timeline?lst=1030597030%3A660539243%3A1580341783
There's an article about them here. https://www.web24.news/2020/01/sophie-marceau-posts-a-magnificent-message-for-her-son-vincent-zulawski-merci-la-vie.html
This is very likely to be our missing director, but the film "Hold Up" is categorised as a "Student Film"
I've not been able to find an email address but looks like he lives in London.
Also looks like the cast were fed, but may not have been paid. :?

Yes, I'm a member.
That's how I got to see (and record) "La bande à Juliette".
Worth joining for anyone not already a member.
As I recall, short films are free to view and full length films are affordable too.

If the cast was not paid, does that mean that Pauline does it for the love of the art? 8) :P

I think that the best method for contact might be by facebook, even if I don't like that :r .

I confirm that this is the same Vincent Zulawski: https://www.instagram.com/veryzoo/?hl=en (veryzoo productions)

I don't think she's ever done that before.
It is/was her living after all.

Owen wrote:...best method for contact might be by facebook...

Yes, no problem identifying Vincent and the connection to Veryzoo, but he hasn't posted on Facebook since 2017 and there's no mention of Jade, Pauline or "Hold up".
Similarly with Instagram, some more recent posts, but nothing to link with Jade, Pauline or "Hold up"

All a bit confusing until/unless I can find out more. :T
