Yes, it's another "beer" pic. Image
May last year.
Same time as the other two.
Same place even.
In fact, probably the same glass of beer.

Yay me!

The "bench sitters" were getting a little impatient waiting for Fish to get his arse into gear. :Z :Z :Z :Z
But why on earth did Quentin say "Pauline has an egg head"? :? :P

If you have any friends who might be interested in helping fund the film on the promise of a DVD as reward, let them have the link. http://www.kisskissbankbank.com/en/projects/dans-la-chambre--2?utm_campaign=after_payment_email&utm_medium=email&utm_source=user_mailer

That's because it is improperly advertised! Here's how it should go:
"Come, come! Prepare for a SHOCKING REVELATION short film by the unknown Christelle Lahaye and a bunch of unknown people. Whatever, who cares, the one you really wanna see is Acquart, isn't it? Well, stay, even if not. Because there's ACQUART in it all right but also MOAR! This is a story about INCESTUOUS relationship! Yay! Don't you wanna see some INCEST ACTION (AND with Pauline Acquart: two birds with one stone)? So here's your chance! After a HOT summer movie about LESBIANS, Acquart is back with more taboos to explore, and to SHOW! "

That's it. After that, you get funded and do your artistic approach with fine psychology and original filming angles. O-)
:W

Seriously, I think that in reality the first contributors were related to the crew and producers (as with the last year short which, alas, didn't get made).

Hopefully there will be more soon once the premiere takes place.

We hoped that with Andreas too  :P But even if there is nothing to show, maybe would there be reviews at least.
Speaking of Andreas, I look forward to see the play again in Aix-en-Provence (26 and 27 february, Théâtre du Bois de l'Aune, free entry!). *:)* This time maybe I will appreciate it better.

Last new year's eve, second from the left.
Trust me.

At the Berlin Film Fest, Jamais Contente has just had its premiere. *:)*
That's the good news.

There's a trailer here.......https://www.berlinale.de/en/programm/berlinale_programm/datenblatt.php?film_id=201613697#tab=video25

Sounds very good but nowhere is there any sight, sound or mention of Pauline.
She's in it for sure but it seems like her part must be only minor. *:|*

I'm sure everyone would have looked at the subject of the film, distasteful as it it, but if it's well made it could still be a worthy performance by the actors.
"Perdu d'avance", ("Doomed"), comes to mind in this respect.
Very tough subject matter but I thought Pauline and Theo played their roles well.

I'd love to see her in more light hearted films where she gets to smile a lot, but I also hope she keeps accepting difficult subjects so she can challenge her ability.

I'm envious of you again.
I'm glad you're giving it another chance and I hope you enjoy it. *:)*

I get the distinct impression that the world was spared much grief when Owen [and I, for that matter] decided against a career in advertising.

Yes, Fishy, you tell 'em - more lead roles for Acquart! and more comedy! and longer films! Right Now!!

I refuse to believe that! Not again are they baiting us! If it is true, then she is treated merely as a name. Since there are no certainties yet, for me, she has a major role :P I'll blindly believe until I see it confirmed.
The excerpt reveals very little, but it looks at least decent.

Not sure why you say "would have looked": incest is indeed the subject of the short film (maybe should I translate the presentation here? not entirely though). But in fact, I like the "passion" approach described. I think it could be very interesting. I'm just puzzled about the shots given as reference: they don't look very good.

Variety is the key, I think too. It's great that she gets to play different characters, even if it seems that her roles bond on her personality (which is great too).

I don't know but they may be from Christelle's other film "Menil' Zoo".
I haven't watched it yet but it's here on Vimeo. https://vimeo.com/82189240

Thanks, I'll get a look at it. From the beginning it doesn't seem very happy.

But the campaign is at 50%! *:)* Sadly, I can't support it (and the price for a DVD reward is high).

That's true.
I might have to go on "starvation rations" to afford it, unless I can steal the Forum credit card from Ian again. :-P

Posted about three weeks ago by Magaajyia, tagged with Juergen Teller's name.
Juergen's a pro photographer who seems to specialise in models and famous people and such, but I've yet to find any others of Pauline in his stuff.
No explanation but the caption is "Keep it in the closet".
Referring to all the clothes next to her perhaps? Image :P

Hiding in the alley again.

Tonight (18th Feb) at 7:00pm is the premiere of Los Feliz at the Blickle Cinema in Vienna. *:)*
I know the 21st House website is confusing, saying the season starts tomorrow (19th) but according to Edgar and everyone else that matters the premiere is definitely tonight.

I know we all hope that Pauline is there along with millions of photographers. :D *:)*

There is no interview with Pauline [yet?] that I can find; I think perhaps she doesn't like interviews, that she wants the work to speak for itself.

That's OK, I guess, and we should be seeing the film soon enough, but I wish there was *something*, just the same...L'Acquart mysterieuse, it's so tantalising.

DMt. wrote:...but I wish there was *something*...

I have a nasty suspicion that for some reason neither Pauline nor Phillipe Spall (the Devil) were at the premiere.
I mean, what kind of premiere omits two of the three lead characters? :T

The premiere itself seems to have been an art exhibition showcasing Edgars "Los Feliz" artw*rk and such, followed by a viewing of the film in what seems a fairly small cinema.
No idea if the next weeks screenings will follow the same path, or if the other leads will be there.
Very disappointed so far. :(
