Hey Stefan :W
This is not from a short film.
It's from Los Feliz, over 1½ hours long, created by the Austrian filmmaker Edgar Honetschläger.
Serene and a number of other photographers worked with Edgar to record the making of the film.
The concept is brilliant and I loved the film and the associated art installations.
Here's a good place to start if you don't have much knowledge of Los Feliz. http://www.1000000000.at/#/?_k=avifoa

"Those who make the pictures rule the world is the proposition to a movie that connects the former center of picture production ROME and the one of today: LOS ANGELES. Like the genesis the feature film LOS FELIZ has a seven-day structure. A young French girl, the devil and a Japanese Shinto goddess take a trip in an old Mercedes Benz from Rome through a painted and drawn America to LA. By means of huge rolling backgrounds (moved by three cardinals) and drawn sets the classic iconography of American road movies will be laid out. LOS FELIZ packs the vastness of the North American continent into a film studio. A fairy tail, both comedy and drama that caricatures the global omnipresence of Western imagery and Hollywood pictures with humor and irony, although it does not forget to make fun of itself, the illusion film and the genre road movie."

Or did you mean "I am the Town"?
Yeah! That's brilliant too. *:)*

Hi fish,

soooooorry, I mean "I am the Town" of course!

I should not post after the end of a long working day, ha ha. The other one I still have on my list of movies to watch. :)

I just don't understand that they somehow don't promote the short video "I am the Town" a bit more... it would deserve it and it's kind of a goal that you should reach, when you are a filmmaker / artist, right?

Anyways, again thanks for all your posts and keeping the forum alive. :W

Laure has a number of short films for use within the fashion industry, so I wouldn't give up on "I am the Town" being used at some stage.
The poem "I am the Town" by Rupi Kaur provides such a beautiful narration that I'm sure it will be used in forthcoming campaigns. *:)*

Check out her Vimeo page and the associated ones also on this page. https://vimeo.com/search?q=laure+atanasyan

Thank you for the link, fish. :)

I couldn't agree more... The short movie "I am the town" could be used for multiple usage. I even could imagine it but be an into into business meetings, cinemas, etc. It is short but nevertheless just catches your attraction... and that all thanks to Pauline *:)*

I think this means it's on TV in Spain tomorrow.
At least in the Valencia region. *:)*

If I'm reading this right, and you get the chance to see it I can thoroughly recommend it.
It's a lovely 45 minute film. *:)*

Can't vouch for anything, but she's relatively tall and is with Théo Cholbi, on the right.
The photographer Camille Treutenaere has taken club scene pics of Pau Pau and her friends in the past.
This one is not tagged. :?
