I thought we had a topic on here somewhere for Noomi, after Millenium and all. :?
Anyway, seems her latest film "Prometheus" has just been released. (or is about to be...)

Here's a trailer.

If you're into sci-fi it looks like it might be pretty good, being a Ridley Scott film helps too.

It's supposedly an Alien prequel, though whether those aliens are actually in it or not seems to be something of a mystery!

Didn't know Noomi was in it.

Not only in it, she seems to be starring in it. *:)*

I'm thinking it might be worth a look-see. 8)

One of the few films I've been planning to go see anyway, amazingly. :D

I've been to see Prometheus. *:)*

Ugh! *:|*

Completely disappointing. I enjoyed the films Alien and Aliens. This is supposed to be a prequel? Ridley Scott?

If you like a film TOTALLY driven by 3D, cgi, SFX and don't mind that it has a corny plot (wherever it is lurking) dumb storylines, cardboard cut-out characters, wooden acting, then its one to see.

Noomi was OK in it as was the android-man, but the dialogues and stereotypical charcter types didn't give the other actors anything to get their teeth into.

Its just a money maker. pfffrrrttt.

That's pretty sad. :(

I saw The Movie Show the other night, in which they reviewed Prometheus, and they seemed to agree with you.
They were most disappointed that the screenplay did so little to develop any of the characters and had very little for the actors to sink their teeth into.

Sounds like it shouldn't be long before it's on TV, I might wait.

Well, I'm DEFINITELY not paying double price for 3D now and given the rubbish times for the 2D screening, I suspect this will be another for rental. Much like The Woman in Black, which buggered off within 2 weeks!

Wooden acting? Micheal Fassbender was awesome and the best thing as David.
