Just taught i start a club up for films on here since on youtube you can post full films now :D

Just post films people might not have seen or are rarely heard off. That you enjoy and would like to share if its on youtube :D

Beautiful Thing
A British gay film from 1996 made by Film Four reminds me a bit of Fucking Amal (in how it deals with sexuality and teenagers) and its rather sweet too. The Neighbour girl is funny and the reltionship betwee the guys is touching.

We do this anyway, if we find anything good, but why not gather it in a specific thread, after all.

'Rarities and Oddities and Dead Good Stuff I Bet You Never Heard Of, sort of thing?

OK...Performance, Donald Cammells sinister black-magic masterpiece [thanks to Nick Roeg?].

I must have seen about eight different edits of it since 1968, the fucking thing is like a recurring nightmare.

Oh, right, there's supposed to be a YT link? Somewhere around here, can't seem to find part 1 though

Dead Of Night, out of Ealing studios, 1945. Scared the bejesus out of me as a child, that whole trapped-in-a-loop thing.

Whistle Down The Wind, 1961

A forgotten classic, and an absolute masterclass in monochrome cinematography.

Yeah, she doesn't hurt either. I had a HUGE crush on her as a kid...
