Mind you, X Files and Twin Peaks are coming back so, sad as it is in a way that they have to bring back 90s shows to make anything exciting and interesting, at least all isn't lost.

They are, back, but how will they turn out? I am a huge X-Files fan, but from what I've seen it will be "modernised", and I suspect that mythology will be retconned and/or ignored. There will be no Robert Patrick ( ). And all the world will hear will be shippers whining about Mulder/Scully not being together anymore  .
.

There will be a couple of mythology episodes. Robert Patrick isn't in it because he was unavailable filming something else; Annabeth Gish, who played Reyes in the last season and a bit, though, is going to be in one of the episodes. Judging from the early reviews, there really isn't anything to worry about.

The Returned season 2 is apparently coming out on Blu/DVD (in the UK anyway) as early as next month. :D *:)*

I think I might wait for the S1&2 package; can't be that long, since apparently there's no S3 in prospect.

The Returned Season 2 starts here in Australia Monday night on SBS 2 at 8:30, for two hours. Well that's a damn sight quicker than season 1!
That's saved me some cash (for a while anyway). :D *:)*

I suppose there's a logic behind showing the first two episodes on one night. :?
I've got them set to record anyway. *:)*

So what did we all think of the first two episodes then?

Ain't seen 'em, don't keep a TV - I could have watched some of the 2nd episode of S2 at my Ma's, but why spoil it?

I liked it.
Maybe not as much as the first season, but that was a very hard season to follow.
The first couple of episode does raise more questions, rather than answer questions from the season 1 finale though. :P

Yeah, I liked it too, I think. :?
Very atmospheric.
Not that easy to follow yet.
I've seen the first three episodes but I'll need to watch them again to try and sort out a few things in what I laughingly call my mind. :T

Loving Jenna Thiam.
Seriously.
And to think she had her hands on Bourka for a while. *:)* *:)*

I've only watched S2 through once [chomp chomp chomp], but the writing showed a marked absence of the Sciamma touch, I thought.

It just kind of fizzled out into a slightly more dreamy/nightmarish take on the zombie clichés... :|

Yes, I thought season 2 was a massive disappointment and had pretty much lost all interest by the end.
