Oh yes, on that we agree! And thinking of it, you might turn it all around and see Eli as more of a symbol, like of the violence that Oskar has inside him but is afraid to let loose. She's the complete opposite - She has to use violence even though she does not want to.

Well I thought it could have been worse, even though it's sad that they seem to have dropped the everyday feeling of the Swedish film.. This looks way too dramatic. But who's surprised, really? Why would the audience want to watch a film about normal people?

Indeed, far too mundane.

Like most of the very good "horror" stories it's the ordinary nature of the people involved that makes it so real.

Think I'll go watch Eli and Oskar again.

Has anyone spoken to Ole about the recently-mooted possibility of a fanfic area?

Ole is a cool guy. He hosts this site and is a laidback but an emotionally grown-up person. I think its time the site was give a PHPbb update, so liek I could do the Trivia Quiz with the answers in the same thread but covered up with he ''spoiler'' facility.

And we could post embeddededed Youtube hotlinks...
