The realisation that being a paranoid hoarder sometimes pays off.

As you may know, I had a nice little thing going with mix DVDs of music videos and stuff (including my own). Somehow it kind of fell apart a few years back, and while I use USBs now, a lot of files are not on them. The last few weeks I've been going through all my old DVDs trying to restore everything on USBs the way it was, and carrying forward with stuff I've accumulated the last few years. Went through about 100 discs. All great... until I find that a couple of vids weren't on the USBs like I thought they were, and hadn't been on those DVDs either. I was cursing!

Until I found another little pocket of about 30 recordable DVDs in the back of a cupboard... and, lo and behold, they were on one of them (and so were a couple more I'd even forgotten about).

So chuffed. So lucky. Such a hoarder.
