Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny in the Harry Potter movies, says that she understands why JK Rowling might have changed her mind about Harry ending up with Hermione instead of her, and that Ginny would have "been just fine".

Trying to look past the controversies for now, and just enjoy the fun and exitement.
The medal definitely has a backside though.

It's fun to watch the Winter Olympics, but I really hope they're all safe after recent events there.

The full JK/Emma interview has been released, and was even funnier than the highlights.
* Ron and Hermione have "fundamental incompatibilities".
* They "wouldn't work in an adult relationship".
While Hermione is
* Better suited to Harry
* Harry's equal
* The only one who stands by him throughout from start to finish.

Hysterical. JK finally cops to EVERYTHING Harry/Hermione fans have been saying for years! :lol: *:)*

Fantastic day at the Olympics today. :D
Norway won Gold medal for both men and women in the cross-country skiing sprint.
I'm particularly glad it was the young and up-and-coming athletes who surprisingly won it, instead of the experienced favorites.

Very dramatic, and emotional. :)

Been watching the morning sessions, what with time zone issues and all that.
Loving the downhill stuff especially. *:)*

There's this strange stuff falling from the sky today.
And it's wet. :shock: *:)*

I wouldn't mind some snow here right now.
A dry winter is no fun. :roll:

It must all be falling on England by the sound of the news stories.
Not nice for them, not nice for you without some of it. *:|*

Happy Valentine's Day.

Young Brendan may have to refine his "chat up" skills in future years. :lol:

My old TV is dying. It's been coming on uber-bright the last few weeks before settling down and then last night it began warbling and warping and shimmering. Very sad. Had the thing since 1996, that's a lot of water under the bridge. Been a damn good TV.

Have bought a new one, a 38.5 inch TEAC, but am unconvinced by it at present. Looks a bit too big and with how close it is in my room the resolution looks pretty weak too. Going to try and rearrange tomorrow and see if I can't shove it back a couple of feet. Whether that will make any difference...
