A fine way to end up Perseids in your wine glass.

Mind the splash.

You couldn't have missed it, it was bloody huge, towering in the night sky.

Oh but I did *:|* - because it was heavy rain and dark clouds here in Manc. However, the next night it relented, and I saw several beautiful oil paintings up there, involving the Moon defeating dramatic dark clouds with lots of light.

Yes, or even to take the bins out...

Ah yes, alcohol and computers...that combination has got me in trouble too, occasionally.

Here, have a 'with' on me. Cheers!

Of course, I forgot about rain and clouds.
It was supposedly viewable worldwide, but bad weather would most likely block it out.
Oh well, pity. *:|*

The Perseids were much closer [and faster] than I'd imagined them. Very beautiful, but very brief. At lowish aeroplane altitudes, but much, much faster than a plane. Just the two. I feel lucky to have seen them at last.

So much cloud over Hobart I could only just make out the faint glow of the moon.

Or maybe it was the effect of the glass of red. (hic) *:)*

Sick of the sight of hospitals, but hopefully it's all done now.
At least for a little while. :T

Wishing you and the boy well, Fish.

I hope never to see the inside of another hospital, too. Or smell one...

Left at 8:30 am.
Back at 6:00 pm.

Bloody long day.
Needed a nap after that.

But then I could smile. :D

I gave my upstairs neighbours a big bag of cooking-apples a little while back, they were quite touched I think.

So when it came to the disposal of Dad's £5,499-in-80s-money Yamaha HS-8 organ, they thought of me...I go to inspect and confirm I want it this afternoon; it's mine. No money involved.

Engaging in random acts of kindness and senseless beauty is evidently a very good idea... *:)*

Always is.
Congrats on the organ, and may the music chime through the night. ^O^
Or day, with regards to the neighbours.

Made about 13 MVs this past week. Seven of them might even be publishable on YouTube.
Bought a new movie making software this week. Some cool effects. :D
