This is our ABC you're talking about, right?

When did they get to be so up to date? *:)*

Maybe when everyone downloaded Tennant's last story instead of waiting over six weeks for them to show it. :P

The thrill of the hunt...

Eight years ago in 2002, while surfing the net at Uni (as you do  ), I stumbled on a site selling secondhand magazines. On there, I found a 1991 edition of a UK teen TV mag called "Big!" which had a 2 page article/interview (complete with obviously specially shot photos) with Amelia Frid. Needless to say, I tried to buy it... only to fnd the store had closed down and the site itself was about to go offline. I've been searching for it everywhere for eight years and it FINALLY showed up on ebay last week, and became mine this morning. Only cost me a couple of dollars, though I did put in a maximum bid of something ridiculous like thirty dollars so no bugger could outbid me at the last moment!

Man, that took some time! *:)* *:)* *:)*

Strange that it's still out there. :?

Last time Amelia rang me she said she'd finally rounded them all up for destruction. I warned her about you of course, but I thought she was joking when she said she might let one "slip" onto the market just to see how serious you were.

I expect she'll be hanging around your front door now, trying to find a way to make you part with it. *:)* :P

Jammy git. :P :T

If only!

There's still "Adventures on Kythera" (a 7 part kids TV show she did earlier the same year she joined Neighbours) to track down. Never seen it. Today I actually found a black and white photo (scanned from a newspaper around the transmission time) from it on the net. I am nothing if not an obsessive compulsive completist.

I've been taking tips from you and snapsie. :P

Now when I said I wasn't born yesterday I didn't mean I wasn't a fool. What I meant was, I wasn't born yesterday.

But yesterday was a nice day so thanks anyway. Happy birthday to you for last Friday. *:)* *:)*

D'oh. Image

You see, your big mistake was in thinking I had enough intelligence to look at things like that.

One of us needs the appropriate treatment. Image

Given my fan love for both FA and Amelia Frid, I was most amused - if not a little unnerved - to find this definition on wikipedia today:

"Amelia is a female given name. It is a variant of Amalia, derived from the Germanic word amal"

That's just freaky, dude!

You see what's happening, don't you?
A fan of the X-Files suddenly finds a circular reference in his life where everything turns wierd.
Soon he will travel to Åmål, even if only in his dreams, (are they just dreams?), to try to solve the riddle which has now taken over his life.
Åmeliå is still waiting by his front door for the return of her missing magazine. Soon she will unleash the demonic powers of a million Åmålian winters and our hero's life will become a living nightmare.

Although I guess it could just be a coincidence. :P

LOL "There are no coincidences". Proof I have been watching way too much "Lost". :T

And speaking of that magazine...

That BIG! magazine arrived yesterday. Oh my.

You know, after searching for it for 8 years, I was a little bit worried it might turn out to be a bit of an anti-climax - but it wasn't. I was expecting something like 4 or 5 new photos at the most - SIXTEEN 'new' specially shot photos of her in and around her real house, with her little brother and little dog. So damn cute.

It may be almost 18 years late, but her comments about her just getting a new boyfriend made me  :T :x anyway.

Lovely. Well worth the wait and the sod-all-really I paid for it.

Can't it be 1991 again please? :P

Just another fold in the spiralling time vortex of your life.

1991 is now deep inside that black hole, right alongside 1985. :P
