I saw “Lilja 4 ever”. I don't know what to think. Yes, it was sad but not shocking. It is almost like a back yard reality to me. Some shoots from the movie were taken from the street I’m living! These ‘ghost towns’ as shown in the movie exist in my homeland. Now the situation is better and things are developing positively, though nasty places can still be found here. But talking about “Lilja 4 ever”, it wasn’t that interesting and catchy as FA. The only surprise was when I noticed some familiar buildings. I think that the goal of the movie was not to be surprising though maybe shocking, disturbing but it didn’t work that well for me...
