It's a PDF file 32 pages long and to quote David, "What I would like to do is ask a rather simple question: Why?
Why do people fall in love with this film?
What is so special about it?
In what follows, I will try to develop an answer to this question."

I re-read it the other day and fell in love with Agnes and Elin all over again.
(Not that i was ever out of..... Oh, you know what I mean. )

OMFG! what a find. This has been missing for ages. I knew I'd seen it on pDF somewhere before, but I didn't keep a copy. When David's' freesite went down it erased most of it, and he didn't have a back up copy.

Ian! Ian! Ian! can you make sure to email David Christian and tlet him know that its turned up after all this time.

I'm glad everyone appears to be enjoying this:

I particularly like this cover. You see my point about YOHIO playing the part of Theres?

Well I know this is supposed to be a serious books thread. But, I have been getting into a MANGA series called ''Demon Diary'' as it was recommended by none other than YOHIO. *:)* It is hilarious. Very cleverly written and illustrated. It is very ''tongue-in-cheek'' and pokes fun at the Manga genre. [If you like Dr Who (note Raenefs scarf), and the way it lightly takes the piss out of science fiction, this is the equivalent]. Raenef clearly provided a role model for YOHIO :D

The lynchpin is the relationship between Raenef, a fifteen year old boy heir-apparent to demonry lordship, [pictured to the right here] and Eclipse, technically speaking his tutor, but also his subordinate [pictured to the left]. It IS ''yaoi'' but in a very non sexually explicit sense.

If you like ''Fucking Amal'' you cannot fail to fall in love with this series. It is soooo Agnes and Elin, albeit between two male characters. Agnes=Ecilpse, Elin=Raenef.

It's OK. We understand. Just take a few days to acclimatise. Go and feed the crocodiles at the bottom of the garden, but don't get too close. :)

Yes perhaps. But the point is we love him to bits :) He just needs time and space to adjust. Talking of knives, we've heard of 'Crocodile Dundee', the next BIG THANG must be 'Crocodile Ian'

Mmmm, excuse me for being picky  but isn't this supposed to be a BOOKS thread? :T

'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' is great too, but read it before 'Smiley's People', is my advice
