Sir Roger Moore has died at the age of 89. One of my favourite actors, a childhood hero, the best James Bond there'll ever be, and a real gentleman to boot. RIP. :(

Swedish actor Michael Nyqvist has died of lung cancer at just 56. Nyqvist played the heroic crusading journalist in the original Swedish Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy and went on to success in Hollywood, usually playing villains, in films such as Keany Reeves' John Wick and as the mad cult leader in Colonia opposite Emma Watson.
Rather shocked.
RIP.

That's very sad.
Far too young.

Bloody smoking. (Says one who's now gone over three months without a smoke.) :x

Rest in peace Michael. :(

This is a bit late, but a RIP for David Swift, who is an absolute comedy legend as the spectacularly volatile veteran newsreader Henry Davenport in cult classic 90s British sit-com Drop the Dead Donkey. I had no idea he'd died last year.

Wasn't aware either, very sad.
His portrayal of Henry Davenport in Drop The Dead Donkey was one of TV's minor masterpieces.
What a classic.

Robert Guillaume, best known as the acerbic butler with an attitude Benson on cult classic 70s/80s comedy series Soap and spin-off, er, Benson, has died aged 89. RIP. Loved him on Soap.

RIP to Graham Strong, the Doctor Who fan who, as a young lad, audio recorded 60s Doctor Who and maintained those recordings for decades. Without him there would be no audio releases, no recons and no animations of missing stories because there would be no audio to match to still images or animations. For any future animations, or in the event that an overseas recording of a missing story were found in a foreign language, we would have him to thank for their creation and restoration.

Don't know him but we do indeed owe him a debt of gratitude.
Rest in peace Graham.

As someone who plays golf, I have kept an eye on the career of the young Australian professional, Jarrod Lyle.

A genuinely nice bloke who, at the age of 36, has passed away after a long battle with leukemia.

Rest in peace mate. *:|*

We lost our little dog Lucy today. She was 17, had a good run but still very sad and depressing. She was in great shape until a couple of months ago when she went blind, and it's been downhill from there.
Sucks. :(
