The government has banned public events with more than 50 attendants and increased border control. Retirement homes are closed for visitors. However, people are allowed to travel freely inside the country and our schools and most other institutions are still open. Compared to the other Nordic countries we have pretty few restrictions in force as for now. Even though people are still walking on the streets they’re losing their jobs or getting laid off so there’s a big feeling of uncertainly for the future.
Whatever. We'll go there and burn the house down. Come on. Please...

There seem to be different rules for different parts of Australia.
Here in South Aus groups of more than 5 people are banned.
Retirement homes closed to visitors.
Legitimate movement only, eg. shopping.
Big gov't push on "Stay at home".
State borders are closed.
No freedom to travel anywhere.
Non "essential" workplaces are closed.

People have been fined for breaking the rules. $$$$$$$
Social distancing is enforced.

The economy has completely stalled but the rules are accepted because there is only a small infection rate.
The death toll in Aus due to the virus is only around 50 in total.

Thanks for telling me about your current situation.
The USA, like other countries, has done nothing until it was too late and Aus does the right thing to prevent it.

I'm not a supporter of our current conservative government. :r
I think our Prime Minister was dragged kicking and screaming to his current position by the state governments. (including some from his own party.)

In the end Aus has achieved much to reduce the effects of the virus and I'm equally sure our PM will try to take all the credit, supported as he is by the conservative Murdoch media.

I'm also sure the USA and others could achieve much more if they stopped relying on their leaders' "intelligence" and started listening to the science.

I'm glad it isn't me on the 4th floor with the guitar.
I don't want Vincent Vega looking for me. :N

There are many things in movies that are not said but known.
I think Mia really like to dance and her husband don't like it and that's why he asked Vincent to go out with her because he knew Vincent to dance very well.

Don't forget, Marsellus Wallace had Tony Rocky Horror thrown out of a 4th story window for giving Mia a foot massage.

No weirder than reality I suspect. :T

In Australia Prime Minister Morrison has lucked out with the spread of the COVID-19 virus being almost (Almost*) reduced to zero.
Much credit goes to "Social distancing" measures introduced by the states and then taken up by the Feds.
This is despite his government ministers allowing several cruise ships to dock and with a number of infected passengers allowed unrestricted movement around Aus.
Most current infected people have been traced to these ships.

And yet there is a strong push towards "saving the economy" and to reduce some of these safeguards.
The cost of economic recovery will be great but I fear the cost of allowing this virus free range around the world will be even greater.

Many similarities I think to Trump's USA, politics reigns it seems. *:|*
