I've actually heard of 'Keeping you a Secret' It's actually been mentioned by a couple of people I know, so it may well be a worthy investment.

I have 'Keeping you a secret.' And I don't like it that much. I thought it'd be really good too. :(

According to what she said in interviews at the time, The Little Prince used to be Rebecka Liljebergs favourite book back then when FA was shot... so you're in good company!

What about:
The Discovery of Heaven (Harry Mulisch)
Death in Venice (Thomas Mann)
Norwegian Wood (Haruki Murakami)
and of course... The Lord of the Rings and
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

kant1781 I recommend you to read something from Jean Cocteau if you haven't done that before.Death in Venice is beautiful!!

(and what a funny coincidence: few of my best friends said that I'm like
Frodo)
Some other favourites: Franz Kafka's novels and from Lev Nicolaievici
Tolstoi - The death of Ivan Iljici ( I forget to breathe while reading that!!)
How about favourite poets or painters?

So you're the Little Prince and like Frodo at the same time? That means that you must be on a long journey, searching for something...

I recommend you to read something from Jean Cocteau if you haven't done that before.Death in Venice is beautiful!!

Ah, it's the classics you want! 8) Kafka is marvellous. It's a shame I haven't read Tolstoi, just a little Dostojewski (sorry, that's the German spelling). Some more favourites from that league: E.T.A. Hoffmann. Oscar Wilde. Eugène Ionesco. James Joyce. Samuel Beckett. José Luis Borges. Stanislaw Lem.
Thanks for pointing me to Cocteau! As soon as I have time... :)
(Go ahead with the painters...)

José Luis Borges and Eugéne Ionesco?? boy you are something! 8)
Well Ionesco is actually romanian, I mean he was born there(town called
Slatina- near river Olt)
My next painting is in some way related to Borges (his way of thinking about time is fascinating!!)

And some extra information for you kant: Cocteau had a love affair
with famous romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi
