I was wondering if anybody here has seen the American movie "Stand By Me" I believe it came out in the 80's and I think it's a really great movie.

I think I saw it twice at school. It's featuring River Phoenix, isn't it.
It's not bad, though it didn't have any deep meaning to me. The best thing about it is the soundtrack :)

I remember it very well - it came out in 1986 and it is a great movie, Kyle! Think it was the first movie I went to see twice in a row in the theatre, and the list of movies who made me do that is very small. Took me years to get over the leeches though...
