"the early morning when I wake up /
I look like Kiss but without the make-up"
Apparently the contest more and more reveals its true character, which is being a festival for children's music. This refers to the British as well as to the Finnish contribution (and to most of the others in fact, minus four or five). Goodness me, what a bugger. If you like either of the two tracks mentioned, I recommend "School's Out" by Alice Cooper, which is something like a combination of them, but with lots more of musical power, sophistication, and wit. Oh, and it's 34 years old, which shows how many ages the contest is lagging behind. (Not to mention Tobbe's old favourite, Kiss).
Sorry about the Icelandic contribution, Nemo. The Germans also sent some joke contributions in recent years who were sometimes quite funny but didn't fare too well. Their main problem is that their serious contributions also looked and sounded like jokes and fared even worse.
